What Could You Make Out of A Sheet?

Recently, I became acquainted with a group on Artfire, called ‘Shops With Less Than (10) Sales,’ – I shan’t say why! .

Despite the fact that it is a very friendly and supportive group – we all hope to graduate and look back fondly on our time there.

Meanwhile, I was very taken with this vintage item from one of the shops (A Green Dress) as I think it shows inventiveness, resilience and derring do – all those post-war qualities prevalent in the 1950s.

Make It With Sheets

If you have an Artfire shop and have yet to attain the giddy heights of 10 sales, why don’t you join us here http://www.artfire.com/modules.php?name=Guilds&op=guild_hall&guild_id=112.  Let’s see if we can’t all pull together!

Great post! I commissioned an upcycled hippie dress, for my neice this Xmas, from A Green Dress. Can’t wait to get it!

I am in total agreement! Anyone who dares to sew anything gets a thumb’s up in my book–LOL. But, in all seriousness, there are some fantastic artists on ArtFire.
